France's Top Cat Games on Android Q1 2021: A Sensor Tower Snapshot

As cat-themed games continue to entertain and engage users across the globe, we at Sensor Tower have taken a closer look at how the top five cat games performed on the Android platform in France during the first quarter of 2021.

Starting with Kitten Match by Special Gamez, the game showed a fluctuating pattern in downloads, beginning at 14K in the last week of December and dipping to a low of 2K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, starting strong at 52K and decreasing to 37K in the same period.

Clever Apps Pte. Ltd.'s Kitty Scramble: Word Game also saw a decline in downloads, peaking at 5K in mid-January before falling to under 1K by the quarter's end. The weekly active users mirrored this downward trajectory, from 6K in mid-January to 1K by March's close.

Wooga's Tropicats: Tropical Match3 presented an interesting case with no recorded downloads until mid-March, ending the quarter with a modest 158 downloads. Active users remained below 1K throughout the quarter, indicating a consistent but small user base.

From PONOS Corporation, The Battle Cats showed no downloads until early March, reaching 372 downloads by the quarter's end. Active users, however, experienced a significant increase, from 689 in late December to 1K by March.

Lastly, My Cat - Virtual pet simulator by Appsyoulove, demonstrated a peak in downloads at 9K in mid-February before falling to 2K by March. Weekly active users saw a high of 19K in early February, which then declined to 5K towards the quarter's end.
